The Eakin Cohesive Seal, 2" x 1/8", manufactured by the Convatec brand, are seals that can be molded into a variety of shapes in order to help prevent any kind of leakage that may occur around the stoma. The Eakin Cohesive Seal works as a filler for the uneven skin surfaces that could occur. Incorporated is a unique moldable hydrocolloid barrier that forms a gel to help prevent any skin damage by sealing the area that is between the skin and ostomy appliance. This product has a visualization of a doughnut-shaped ostomy accessory. This product is beige, and can be molded into a variety of shapes and behaves as a gasket providing enhanced protection for those hard to fit stomas.
