Repair Services

Screenshot_20230104_013444.png

We're able to repair any durable medical equipment. We mostly do repairs at our store. However, we are able to go to the location of the DME and possibly work on it there. Your more extensive problems will need to come back to my shop. For home service calls, we do charge $55, payable at time of arrival.

Scooter and Powerchair Diagnostic Fee: $45

We perform a diagnostic check to troubleshoot electrical  problems. This covers checking all of your electrical components on your DME. This does not cover the cost of the part.

Manual Repairs:

I do not charge for tightening brakes or knobs. As your rollator, wheelchair or walker  starts to get a little wear and tear they become a bit loose and all we do is tighten them up, adjusting the brakes only take a few minutes.

Brake Replacement for Rollators:

Depends on what is brought in. Typically a brake cable is around $20 for total cost of brake and labor. Nitro Rollators have a different cable head making them much more expensive.

REMEMBER, most power wheelchairs require two batteries. Equipment with Lithium batteries only have one. When one of them is bad, you must replace both. Otherwise, your wheelchair will not work properly. The longevity of your battery depends on the depth of the charge to get it back to 100%. Here is a chart to guide you on how long a battery will last.
